Key Features:

1. Scope:

• Aims to offer internships to 1 crore young people over the next five years.

2. Stipend and Grants:

• Monthly stipend: ₹4,500 from the government and ₹500 from companies under their CSR initiatives.
• One-time grant of ₹6,000 upon enrollment.

3. Insurance Coverage:

• Interns will be covered under PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and PM Suraksha Bima Yojana.

4. Duration:

• One-year internship program.

5. Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age: 21–24 years.
2. Education:
   • Minimum qualification: Class 10th.
   • Graduates from premier institutions (IITs, IIMs) and those with professional qualifications (e.g., CA) are excluded.
3. Employment Status:
   • Candidates must not be in full-time employment.
4. Income Restrictions:
   • Family income should not exceed ₹8 lakh annually.
   • Families with government employees are ineligible.
