UPSC CSE 2027 Eligibility Criteria

The UPSC CSE eligibility criteria are defined mainly by nationality, age limit, number of attempts, and educational qualifications.

  • For IAS and IPS: Candidate must be a citizen of India.

For other services:

  • Citizen of India, or
  • Subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
  • Tibetan refugee (who came to India before 1 January 1962), or

2. Educational Qualification

  • Must hold a graduate degree from a recognised university.
