UPSC Mains 2025 Result Out – Download PDF, Check Expected Cut off and Next Steps

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the UPSC Mains Result 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam held from 22 to 31 August 2025 can now check if they have qualified for the Personality Test (Interview) stage.

The result has been released in a PDF format with the roll numbers and a name-wise list of shortlisted candidates. Those who have cleared the Mains exam will now move to the next and final stage of the selection process — the interview round, to be held in New Delhi.

Candidates can easily check their results online on the UPSC website. Follow these simple steps to download your result:

1. Visit the official UPSC website: https://www.upsc.gov.in
2. On the homepage, go to the “Examination” section and click on “Active Examinations” or directly open the “Results” tab once it’s activated.
3. Click on the link titled “UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination 2025 Result”.
4. The result will open in a PDF file containing the roll numbers of qualified candidates.
5. Use Ctrl + F (Find) to search for your roll number in the PDF.
6. Download and save the PDF for your records.
7. It’s advisable to print a copy of the result for future reference during the Personality Test (Interview) round.

The UPSC Mains 2025 Cut Off will be officially released only after the final results of the Civil Services Examination cycle 2025. However, based on previous year trends and expert analysis, the expected range can be estimated.
