The AB parent (IAIB) and the O parent (ii) can produce only A (IAi) or B (IBi) blood group children. They cannot produce an O blood group child (ii). Since the three sons have A+, B+, and O+ blood groups, the child with O+ must be the adopted child. Therefore, the adopted son’s blood group is O positive.
