The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi notified the Delhi Electric Vehicles Policy, 2026, on June 30.
The policy sets aggressive deadlines for the registration of only electric three-wheelers and light commercial vehicles from January 1, 2027.
Electric two-wheelers will be exclusively registered from January 1, 2028, under the new policy.
