Defence Acquisition Council (DAC) cleared procurement proposals worth ₹79,000 crore on Thursday, under the chairmanship of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
Proposals include Nag missiles, amphibious warfare ships, and electronic intelligence systems to boost military capabilities.
This is the second major procurement decision after Operation Sindoori, following approvals worth ₹67,000 crore on August 5.
