JOSH Teams are a collaborative effort involving the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, and Ministry of Defence.
In the first phase, JOSH Teams have been deployed in 55 districts across 11 States and Union Territories.
India has achieved a 21% decline in TB incidence (compared to 12% globally) and 92% treatment coverage (compared to 78% globally).
