All India Prelims Test Fair Attempt, Ranking and Reward Terms
These terms apply to all tests, assessments, incentives, gifts, and reward programs offered by SuperKalam and are integrated into SuperKalam’s Terms of Use.
By registering for, accessing, attempting, or claiming any test, event, reward, or gift offered by SuperKalam, the participant agrees to be bound by these terms.
Fair and Independent Attempt
The All India Prelims Test is intended to provide UPSC aspirants with a fair assessment of their preparation and performance. Every participant must attempt the test independently and solely on the basis of their own knowledge and preparation.
SuperKalam reserves the right to postpone, reconduct, or cancel the test in the event of fraud detection to protect the efforts of, and ensure fair reward distribution to, honest aspirants.
Eligibility to Attempt and Receive Rewards
Anyone may attempt the All India Prelims Test or any test for practice and self-assessment. However, permission to attempt the test does not automatically make a participant eligible for the final prize leaderboard or rewards.
To be eligible for rankings and rewards, a participant must:
- be genuinely preparing to appear for UPSC CSE 2027/2028 (the “Exam”);
- be legally eligible to appear for UPSC CSE 2027;
- comply with these Fair Attempt Terms; and
- successfully complete SuperKalam's verification process.
A participant who has previously qualified any stage of UPSC CSE, or has already been selected or allocated to a civil service, may remain eligible for rankings and rewards if they are legally eligible and genuinely intend to appear for the Exam.
A person who has crossed the applicable age limit, exhausted the permissible number of attempts, or is otherwise legally ineligible to appear for UPSC CSE 2027 may attempt the test for practice, but shall not be eligible for the prize leaderboard or rewards.
Prohibited Assistance and Unfair Practices
Participants must complete the test independently without using search engines, AI tools, notes, or third-party assistance.
Any malpractice - including using bots/scripts, operating multiple accounts, sharing test questions, or engaging in unauthorized assistance - will lead to immediate disqualification.
Monitoring and Integrity Review
SuperKalam may use reasonable automated and manual procedures to monitor test attempts and ensure compliance with these terms.
SuperKalam reserves the right to review any test attempt that exhibits unusual, inconsistent, anomalous, or statistically improbable patterns. A high score alone does not establish an unfair practice, but attempts flagged during review may be subject to further verification.
Provisional Scores and Rankings
All scores, ranks, and leaderboard positions displayed immediately after the test are provisional and subject to verification. Appearance on a leaderboard does not guarantee any prize, reward, or benefit.
SuperKalam reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove any participant or unfair attempt from the leaderboard upon review. Final rankings and rewards will be confirmed only after integrity and eligibility checks are complete.
Tie-Breaking Criteria
If two or more participants obtain the same total marks, their relative rankings shall be determined by comparing their subject-wise marks in the following order:
- Accuracy Rate: The participant with the higher accuracy rate (i.e., higher ratio of correct answers to attempted questions / fewest incorrect responses) shall be awarded the higher rank.
- Subject-Wise Marks: If a tie still persists, subject-wise marks will be compared in the following order: Science and Technology > Economy > Environment and Ecology > Indian Polity
- Distribution of Prize Money in case of a persistent tie: If two or more participants remain tied after applying all the above criteria, or if a tie cannot be resolved, the total prize amount (or equivalent cash prize value) allocated for the tied ranks will be combined and divided equally among those tied participants. For Example: If two participants tie for 2nd position, the 3rd position rank/award will be subsumed. The prize amounts for 2nd and 3rd positions will be combined and split equally between both 2nd-place tied participants.
Verification of Shortlisted Participants
For confirming the eligibility for the reward, SuperKalam may require a shortlisted participant to provide information or documents reasonably necessary to verify:
- identity and age;
- ownership of the registered account;
- legal eligibility to appear for UPSC CSE 2027;
- genuine intention and preparation to appear for UPSC CSE 2027;
- present or previous coaching, mentorship, or preparation arrangements; and
- any other information reasonably connected with the participant's eligibility or test attempt.
SuperKalam may also request relevant social media details or review publicly available information where reasonably necessary to verify identity, impersonation, misrepresentation, or suspected misconduct.
A shortlisted participant may be asked to attend a verification call, video interaction, oral discussion, or short re-assessment relating to the test syllabus or selected questions.
Consequences of Unfair Practices
If SuperKalam reasonably determines that a participant has engaged in an Unfair Practice, provided false information, manipulated the platform, or otherwise compromised the integrity of the AIPT, SuperKalam may:
- invalidate the participant's attempt, score, or rank;
- remove the participant from the leaderboard;
- withhold or cancel any prize or reward;
- suspend or permanently block the participant's SuperKalam account;
- restrict participation in future tests or campaigns; and
- take any other action permitted under SuperKalam's Terms of Use or applicable law.
SuperKalam may provide the participant an opportunity to clarify the flagged activity before taking a final decision, wherever considered appropriate.
Reward Timeline
Rewards and prizes will typically be processed and distributed within 7 to 10 business days following the completion of the test and initial verification.
However, SuperKalam reserves the right to extend this timeline or postpone final announcements if an attempt requires additional investigation or integrity review.
Equal Treatment
The same eligibility, integrity, and verification standards shall apply to all participants, irrespective of whether they are existing users, new users, paid users, free users, coaching students, self-study candidates, students, or working professionals.
No participant shall receive preference solely because of their subscription or previous association with SuperKalam.
Technical and Scoring Issues
SuperKalam may correct any technical, computational, scoring, ranking, or publication error identified before or after provisional results are displayed.
A technical issue will not automatically entitle a participant to a particular score, rank, re-attempt, or reward. SuperKalam may provide an appropriate remedy where it confirms that a genuine technical issue materially affected an attempt.
Updates and Clarifications
SuperKalam reserves the right to update or clarify these terms at any time to ensure fairness, security, or address unforeseen issues.
Any updates will be published on the official platform and apply uniformly to all participants. Updates will not reduce advertised prizes or disadvantage participants unfairly.
Final Determination and Privacy
SuperKalam shall assess suspected violations, eligibility, rankings, and rewards on the basis of the information reasonably available to it.
SuperKalam's determination shall be final, subject to applicable law.
Any information collected for verification or integrity review shall be handled in accordance with SuperKalam's Privacy Policy and applicable law.
